Guuuuuurlllll… I feel you sister. And I only have one (she’s seven) but she talks enough for all of us. In fact, just tonight as I was putting her to sleep she was still chattering away as she laid down and I pulled the blankets up.

She said to me, kind of laughing and shrugging, “Mom, I talk a lot, don’t I?”

And I said “yeah, baby, you sure do, and so does your mom, and your dad does too, when he gets excited about it.”

“YEAH, she said he DOES talk a lot.”

I flat out just have to say “Hey, P, I need to think for a second. I need you to be quiet.” The motormouth gene comes from both sides.

Sometimes, she can. I was by myself with her for the first four and a half years of her life so that had to become part of our relationship pretty quickly, lol.

I hand you so many props — we all share motherhood, this is true, but moms with more than one kid are in a league above me, for sure.

I will sheepishly admit that have been keeping my daughter’s baby teeth — I once read this thing somewhere about stem cells in baby teeth and now I’m all dorky about it.
