OMG, are you kidding me? Really?

No one "works hard" to separate ourselves from the child-free, lol - but yeah, life is extremely different after you have children. It is. And no, you don't/won't understand unless you do it - toddlerhood, especially, is a period of time in which few of your friends, unless they are *also* moms of toddlers, really want to hang out with you. It's impossible to have a conversation, for starters, because we've got a tiny human with no manners interrupting, throwing a tantrum, throwing toys, possibly throwing poop... I don't even hang out with my friends who have toddlers and I am a mom, lol. It's actually articles like this that so CLEARLY explain why mothers-only spaces are necessary. Want a retreat geared toward you? Well, you know... it's totally possible - basically any artist or writer's residency is all you, babe.
