And before you say that I am missing the full diversity of human experience with such a limited dating preference, I have in fact dated people less “cerebral” in their interests and I have enjoyed and cherished those relationships in their own way and have learned so much from them but ultimately they were not as satisfying as the relationship where my own peculiar intellectual predilections can be appreciated and vice versa.
